Sheikh Bahaudin when he went to the hospital to give Mawlana’s gift to every one there, he met Dr. Finn. He told Sheikh Bahaudin, oh I wished to send him home… Sheikh Bahaudin replied, but the Sheikh is home. Mawlana spoke many times about the difference between the home unbelievers and believers. He said, for Muslims, every day passes in this world brings them closer to their true home, hereafter. That is why we are happy as we grow older and never sad. He once said, Khalifa Omar Al-Khatab had some one reminding him daily of death till his hair turned grey. Afterwards, he did not need that person to remind him, for grey hair was enough of a reminder. On the other hand, unbeliever as days passes by they become sad since they consider this world to be home and they will leave it sooner or latter. This fact Mawlama said, takes the sweet taste out of their lives. Mawlana also mentioned how Bilal Al-Habashy at his death bed saw his family crying. He told them stop crying cause I am so happy to know that I will meet the Beloved Prophet soon, what a joy what a good tidying. However, Mawlana once recited the tradition of the prophet, loving your country is part of faith.

حب الأوطان من الإيمان

He taught every one to love their country. He himself was always saying, their is no rest except at home in Lefke. Once I was helping mawlana organizing his library. He asked me, do you know Al-Jeeza? I said yes, even though I was not sure exactly what he meant. When he asked if I went there, only then I understood he meant the district of Jeeza west of Cairo. Then he read a tradition of the prophet saying, Aljeeza is a garden of paradise and Egypt is Allah’s treasure on earth.

الجيزة روضه من رياض الجنه و مصر خزاءن الله في الارض.

He explained, what do you think about a country that got a river of paradise running in it. Defenitly that country will be a garden of paradise. He also mentioned that in the past, Egypt’s treasury was equal to seven great nations. He added, the five pillars of faith are, to believe in Allah, His angels, Devine books, His messengers, and hereafter. He said, if some one reach حق اليقين, absolute certainty in one of the five pillars of faith, Allah grants him the rest. The ancient Egyptians had that level of belief in life after death. And that is why Allah made The district of Jezza a garden from paradise, said Mawlana. Nevertheless, when Mawlana was angry with me he threatened, I will send you to Egypt. Then, I was telling him, I am not Egyptian any more, I became Cypriot, just to make him laugh. Mawlana on many occasions said, I am were my master is. His reality never left the company of his Sheikh. Now he is were he was, at his true home with the Beloved peace be upon him, were his master is. Mawlana always said, the real service for his mureeds starts after death, knowing that with death we inshaAllah will meet again in the eternal home. Therefore, Dr.Finn don’t worry Mawlana was sent home.
